It’s that time of the year again. Seems like everyone around you is sick right? Try some of these herbal remedies to lesson your cold, or prevent you from getting one in the first place. Can be taken as capsules or tea.
1.) Echinacea - When taken at first sign of colds or during has been known to help the duration of the cold. Great Immune System stimulant.
2.) Ginger - Great for upset stomach’s and has been known to fight and help with ulcers.
3.) Goldenseal - Known to fight bacterial infections
4. ) Astragalus - Astragalus has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic (helps eliminate fluid from the body) properties. Also a great AntiOxidant
5.) Mullein - Helps ease bronchial tubes and overall lung function
6.) Slippery Elm - Great for easing coughs and sore throats
7.) Thyme - Helps releieve sore throats and reduces mucous in nasal passages.
Also make sure you eat healthy, drink water and take your multivitamins once a day as well!
