Live Scanner Feed

Sorry for the lack of updates on the Live Scanner feed, but it is still not up. I will be moving soon so I did not think it would make sense to enable and setup the feed only to move shortly after.

Promise it will be up soon and well worth the wait!

Great Plugins for Wordpress

Just thought I would like to share some plug-ins that I use and that would benefit anyone with Wordpress. This list is only 5 long, so I will pick only the best and my favorite ones.

xml.JPG1.) Google XML Sitemap Generator - If SEO and traffic is something you want to achieve, (which most of you want) than this plug-in is highly recommended. This easy to use Plugin requires barely any work, and does most everything for you.

2.) Oracle Brains Social Bookmarker - Ever has your site Dugg, Reddit or Del.li.cious? Well I havn’t, but it is a great thing for a huge traffic boost. This plug-in add’s the option after each post to allow user’s to recommend your site to a social networking site such as Digg. You can choose the sites you will want to use in the Plug-in options.

3.) Viper’s Video Quicktags - This plug-in allows you to paste in Youtube or other video URL’s so they show up like this.

Recommended for Blogs or Vlogs with video postings.

analytics.JPG4.) Ultimate Google Analytics - If you use Google Analytics like I do to track Website traffic, than this makes it easy to input the tracking code for your blog. It actually does this for you. All you need is your Tracking Code in plug-in options which usually looks like this : UA-XXXXXXX-X. If you do not use Google Analytics, I highly recommend signing up.

db.JPG5.) WP-DBMgr Plugin - Losing your posts, links and everything else is not fun. With this plug-in you can backup your Wordpress Database and also repair it. Can also be configured to automatically backup your DB at your specified times. Highly recommended and easy to use.

Enjoy!

Both sites back up

Just thought I would let everyone know that both sites are back up and functioning. Due to technical difficulties on the Web host side, my sites were down for about 2-3 days.

Again apologize for the inconvenience, but everything is back up!
